1. I was originally going to do a really bright coloured background and a bright coloured face but I changed it last minute because I didn't want the paint to stain my face, also grey/ usually goes with anything if there is black or grey incorperated into it.

2. I did a bunch of bright colours on my hand and on my last practice i did grey and i thought it would stand out without being really bright

3. I associate a feeling of calmness because there is not alone going on colour wise and it just feels neutral to look at for me.

4. My criteria would be selecting very different and contrasting pieces to been shown to represent two different point of views.

5. To create effects of lighting you must add a tint to the paint depending on how much light there is in your painting and make if brighter closer to the light source.
