For my Transform Me art project I decided to draw my dad’s watch. He had bought the watch in italy years ago and he has always had it since, even if it was broken. I transformed the watch into saturn and added some elements of the original drawing in there, such as the numbers and the hands. I came up with the idea to draw my dads watch by going around the house and picking out objects that I notice often, and I settled on his watch.
In this project I struggled with having each of the drawings in the grid to match up how I wanted and i had to re-do this many times, it delayed my time to work on my other pieces but i managed to fix it and move on. I think i'm most proud of the first drawing of the watch i did because it's one of the first big drawing projects i've done and i’m proud that I pushed myself and completed this piece with hardly anything I would change.
